Some people believe fruit juices are healthy. Actually, they are not as healthy as you think.

When foods are processed they often lose some nutrients.

There are some exceptions for example lycopene is more absorbable when it is cooked with oil. Grains and beans cannot be digested well without cooking. But usually the more you process foods, the less nutritious they become.

Sometimes fruit juices can be good for some people if they are made of real fruit without unnecessary additives. Some people find eating real foods too time-consuming or difficult on the digestive system.

However not all fruit juices are made equal. So watch out!

Many fruit juices you see at the supermarkets are not nutritious because they have low or no fibre content and they are made of mostly artificial sweetener, colour, and flavour. Even though they are made of only real fruits, they are not as nutritious as real fruits.

If you are drinking fruit juice for health, you might want to stop doing that. Start eating real fruits!

【Postbiotic Citrus Salad】

Ingredients (Serve 2~3)

1 Navel orange

1 Blood orange

1 Grapefruit

Lime 1/2

Mint leaves

R’s KOSO 1 tablespoon

Extra virgin olive oil

Cacao nibs 1/2 Tablespoon

A pinch of Cayenne pepper


1, Peel citrus and slice them

2, Layer citrus on the place

3, Pour R’s KOSO, Olive oil, Lime juice

4, Add cacao nibs and cayenne pepper
